Many thanks for thinking of me. However, and I mean this without wishing to hurt you or your feelings, I think maybe you should get out more! The very idea! Do you seriously think I would/could ever wear anything as colourful as those things?!! Far too frivilous for a serious soul such as I am.......

And, no, the "Guardsman effect" bonnet does not appeal to me - I have never been a 'hat man'
