Dixon is in the flat, fertile delta farmlands halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento. With a town population of only about 18,000 the turnout was tremendous. Temperatures were in the high 80 degrees Farenheit, but the cool breeze and ample shade trees made it pleasant.

With Dixon's Location there are many that can easily enjoy the festival without having to travel too far!

I Think that's Holyrood. One of he California bands wear Holyrood and I always drool over their kilts, since I'm particularly fond of that tartan.

Thanks for posting those pictures. Celtic festival shots are always a great way for me to spend my breaks. I really thought I had seen everything when it came to tossing stuff at games, but I've never seen a keg toss!

Thanks Keith for posting the pictures. It was nice to finally meet another X Marks'er. While I was driving to the games it finally dawned on me that it would be really nice to have an X Marks shirt just so I wouldn't have to go up to everyone I saw in a kilt and ask "do you post on X Marks?". Now that I know what Ray looks like I'll flag him down next time.
