    leave it out if that's how you usually wear your clothes. unless i'm going to something more formal (ie. with a button up shirt) i never tuck. if you want the kilt to be your "street clothes" wear it like you wear your "street clothes". if i felt compelled to tuck it in i wouldn't wear it very often. it may not look as nice and neat, but then i'm not really a nice and neat kind of guy. keep it casual if that's your thing.
