    I hope that we are booked in for the Burns supper, with a room & two tickets.
    I am not a good singer, but Helen is, & I am sure we could do something together.

    Robertson, I've pm'd you for two tickets, please, for Ann and I. There can't be many left now! I missed this thread last week as I was away on holiday and just catching up now. This is one event I certainly wouldn't want to miss as I live only about 50 miles from Dumfries. Sorry I can't help with the piping as its been several years since I last played.

    whit if each o us (arr each couple) brought a bottle o' malt whisky...

    an we a' jus placed them oan the table an shared them a' wi' each other?

    Sorry to spend your money Derek but as you are going why not introduce our friends to the delights of a good single malt Welsh Whisgi like Penderyn?

    Tried it at the Royal Welsh - very good but a bit pricey!
