I'll second Hamilton Dry Goods. My calves are too large for a standard kilt hose to look decent and their socks fit comfortably, give me a large beefy cuff at teh top and stay up without flashes. For $8 they are perfect.

The khaki wool full hose from What Price Glory come in at $16, and are quite nice... good solid neutral colour too.

    Yes they are good.

They made a mistake on the order and sent me a pair of white hose with a Saltire motif which should have gone to somebody in Glasgow from the paperwork when I had ordered Lovatt Green hose.

I emailed them about it telling them I would have to use the white hose as I was off to Scotland and there wouldn't be time for me to return them for replacement.

They honourably apologised and sent me a pair of the correct hose free of charge.

I just took the dive (though $8 + $3 shipping isn't really much of a dive I suppose  ) and ordered a pair of grey kilt socks from Hamilton Dry Goods. I'll give a review when I get 'em in...
