Ladies, Cars, Art, Music, My Weekend

Well, last weekend I caught a Thursday afternoon flight to Minneapolis. I was kidnapped directly from the airport to a reception. I was still wearing my hunting stewart PV w/ metal buckles (yes, I got special security treatment) and a short sleeved rugby shirt. Luckily I wore hose and flashes as it was freezing in Minneapolis. Our host was kind enough to have arranged massages, mannicures, drinks and food. In addition to good conversation.

Also one thing I had never done before, an oxygen bar. Complete with lovely ladies.

This guy wanted a picture at the airport so I got one too. Now that's a pint of Guinness

By the end of my travel day I was seeing a little like this. It's not often I can drink 12 y.o. Scotch and get a ride home.

I Promised Cars, here’s a beautiful Rolls Royce Anniversary. One of Three in the USA and one of 36 (I think) in the world. It was purchased at a charity auction and is for sale if anyone is interested. This was my hosts home and collection on day two.

I didn’t win enough at the roulette wheel to get it myself.

Now for a few pictures of a few bronzes, and some things by guys named Picasso, Chagall, and Matisse. If anyone is really interested I can share the entire collection.

Here is something for those interested in Guitars and Music Memorabilia

This is my favorite, It’s signed Elton John:

I’ve always wondered what kind of display would go good in a home gym, Muhammad Ali’s outfit answered that question.

At the end of a day of good company, knowledge, beautiful ladies, food, and drink you may just feel like a king

And finally we come to the end of my weekend tour and why are the ladies so attracted to a sporran?

I hope you found something interesting. Thanks for looking. O’Neille

Fine subject for photograghing, particularly the first pic in post #1 and last pic in post #2!
Oxygen bar? Would that mean I wouldn't need to come up for air or go til I get my second wind?

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

WOW! I'd actually kinda wondered where you had run off to. I'd forgotten you were in MPLS. Very impressive collection your host has there. I'm a Beatlemaniac myself... didn't see any Fab 4some stuff in your piccies.

Looks like you had fun. That Rolls is something else!
The guitar signed by The Who is neat too, but not as cool as the Rolls (I used to work as a stage hand, and have/had lots of stuff signed, so it isn't as impressive).
Oxygen bar? Like pure oxygen? You did look a little happy in that picture...

Ask and ye shall receive. Sorry for the photo quality but I was trying not to use my flash too much. Here is a sample of what was in the music room. I didn't even delve into the sports room much. O'Neille

The rolls was cool. The oxygen bar is oxygen that percolates through various essential oils to create the desired effect. I'm thinking it wasn't the oxygen bar but the previous massage, mannicure, and Scotch. O'Neille
