How do we put them on?
I know of course how one puts on a kilt when it's from the start.
But I find it much more convenient, once I have got it adjusted to my liking, to remove it by taking it off and putting it on already buckled.
I know it then means tucking in the shirt, etc but it saves time and I find it easy to do
Am I unique?
I find that holding in my stomach it comes down easily enough and goes up again just as easily then it fits fine when I relax my tummy again.
Thoughts? Personal experience?

This is new to me...
When I strap on a kilt it fits like a glove...I can jump up and down...stand on my head (no belt needed)...the kilt won't go anywhere. To me it seems impossible to "get rid of it" without unbuckling the straps....I think my measurements are sort of normal...34/35 waist, 40 seat.
I'm baffled....

Well that's at least one more!
Mine stays in place too once in position - as I said I simply have to pull my stomach in so it falls down to my waist then it prises over the hips and posterior fine
Perhaps it doesn't work for everyone but maybe those who haven't tried the technique should have a go

Maybe you just don't have it strapped on tight enough.

Uwhm....I still don't get it...
normally...the waist is smaller as the seat...this makes it impossible to drop the kilt without releasing the buckles

THAT should ONLY work if:
The kilt is set WAY too loose
Your gut is larger than your hips and rump
My waist (where trad. kilts are worn-> around the belly button area) is several inches smaller than my rump (which is "perky," a family trait-> NOT because of plump). Therefore, such a technique COULD NOT work for me, unless I gain a LOT of weight.

Is unbuckling the kilt really all that much of a chore?
