For you Marylanders out there, I heard of a place in Annapolis that has a "Come kilted, drink free" night on Sundays. I haven't found out yet which one it is, but I will!
Oh, I simply must find out where this place is if it's in "downtown" Annapolis. My sister lives just across the bridge in Eastport, so I'll have friendly and pedestrian accessible accomodations.

Let me know about the bar in Annapolis..
Mine's wool.
I wish I could wear my kilts to work, but sadly, I work in corporate (conformist) America with it's tight pants and cubicle prisons.

Now, now! We all know that kilts are only worn for highland games, Burns suppers, and the occassional wedding. You didn't really see any kilts anywhere else. It must have been swamp gas or ball lightning, coupled with mass hysteria. Believe me, that's all it was. Now just look at the flashing light.

the wearin of the plaid
i have more than a few kilts, a sports, some stillwaters, a UK mocker and two americilts, one USA..
one would say too many, i want more..
i work outside everyday, and wear the one color kakhi's , on vacation, i wear the mocker, ( GREAT kilt!) or one of my Stillwaters..
i just wanted to give a heads up, the girls like them ,
at dances, i always end up with someone puttin their hand up it just to test...or liftin it to show their friends...
i try to act all flustered...
i wear them on cruises...they get the most attention there...
guys will laugh at me, some have even told me i can get married to my roomate in new hampshire..
until a gal comes up and asks what's under it, then i just smile..
at my age it's cheaper and safer than a harley.
they look best with army boots.
i never have to beg for a ride home...
if i had only discovered these things 15 years ago........
THANKs to you for the shelvege info...
later..gil
