    You might want to re-think that and get the best possible kilt you can manage in a family tartan. Especially if you live where the weather is conducive to large wooly items. I just received my Clarke in a Wooly/PV blend from Scotland last week http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=21236. It is a perfect weight for the SW United States and is a 7.5 yard kilt.
