Whew! I can't believe me we made it. I hate moving and I've done it for too many times (I can't remember past the 15th move). Anyway, my wife and moved from Northern Virginia to Southern Maryland (north of Silver Spring). We didn't have internet for over a week but all is well now, so I can finally get back on these boards. My Canadian Casual Kilt just got sent out so I can't wait to post some pics when it arrives. It's good to be back.
Congratulations on the move. I feel your pain having just done the same thing over Labor Day weekend. Next time, I'll pay someone
ewww don't pay some one! they break stuff and steal the stuff they don't break! at least that was my experience
hmm... *reminder: Don't move again*
Now wait a minute. Are all the Kilties abandoning Northern VA? First Paco500 moves to England and now you move to Maryland?? Sorry but you need to put your house on the market and move right back! Trust me, we don't plan to move again until retirement. OR until the results of the November Virginia elections come out.

My wife and I are in the throes of planning our next move - from Australia to the USA! Folks are commenting on the woes of moving interstate (which I've done myself and hate with a passion) and now we're contemplating moving across continents! Okay....Maryland is a big , beautiful state. Just what part of Maryland do you now call Home? I moved from Silver Spring 60 miles due north to County Carroll. But I was born and raised, married and divorced in Silver Spring. But, I was remarried, so things are better now. Just be careful of the traffic. Welcome to Maryland, the Free State!
I hear ya.... moving is a trial. Right now I'm just moving across town and that's painful enough. But if I didn't have enough books to start a library, it might be a bit easier.

Welcome to Maryland. Glad you have your internet on. I live over in Rockville, northwest of Silver Spring. I'm guessing you had your reasons to move to Maryland "The Semi-Free State". At least vehicle inspections are once per lfetime and not once a year.
