X-Markers got together at the Renegade Kilts booth. I think we do a creditable job of the Hamish dip here. From left to right: Me, Alan's son Harry, Alan, MacWage, FHPDO, and Kilted Goth. What a great time and sharing and camaraderie.

This fellow is Shawhighlander, who hasn't posted for a while but whom I ran into and spent the day with. He lives quite nearby me in Apharetta.

Me, Paul, and Jonathan - (Jonathan was on his third Old Chub at the time - a very nice stout with a vanilla finish)

These fellas pulled the parking lot shuttle

It's a small games, but very friendly - we had a great time and look forward to seeing many of you at the Stone Mountain Games in two weeks. Look Jonathon up at the Shaw tent - He is the Convener for Georgia.

It was a fun Hartwell games. It is layed back compared to most games and has a "small town country fair" atmosphere. I enjoy this one as much than other much bigger ones.

Nice to meet everyone. Sorry I disappeared. I was "helping" at the MacBubba/Caberdancer tent most of the day.

Also, the Rengade Kilts shirt looks even better in person than in the pics. Good job Alan.

    For the ones who weren't there . . .
The "massed" pipe and drum comes over the rise and marches toward the field, nice usage of the farm's geography.

The games were a success if for no other reason than meeting all the friends from x-marks. I don't believe I have been to town that was more hospitible than in Hartwell. Everyone there was friendly and would bend over backward to lend you a hand. I want to thank everyone for stopping by my tent. I really enjoyed it. My son (Harry) had a good time also. It's not often that I get to spend time with him one on one since he has a family also. I am looking forward to next year at Hartwell. I hope to see more x-markers at the games at Stone Mountain in a couple of weeks. I will post some pictures of the games once I get them uploaded.
