    Nothing wrong with ducks, the University of Oregon is full of them. Also known as "Duck U".

    But in actuality, the Oregon "ducks" got their name from a clam!

    From Wikipedia--The geoduck clam (pronounced /'guː.iː.dʌk/ i.e. "gooey duck"
    Though they are known as the Oregon Ducks

    But back on topic! - the duck races can raise large amounts of charity money, and in an entertaining way!
