    Ben Lomond Highland Games

The weather was perfect and the XMarksThe Scot group (hosted by the illustrious MacNaughton clan) was most amiable and animated.

Another shot of the XMarks group. (Don'tcha love the timer function on cameras?)

    Pleasant conversation.

Complimentary highland dance coaching by Alan_H.

Alan_H in action, really swingin' those pleats. (Sorry, but I cannot figure out how to rotate the video.)

Many thanks to Panache for also supplying pics from the Ben Lomond Games, particularly the one of Alan_H inspecting the military box pleat kilt, found in this thread:

I did not take any other pics of the kilt, but I am in negotiation to buy it from the vendor who was offering it. Of course, if I succeed, more pics will follow.

Great pics & video, w2f! I liked the Hamish pose (w/ brewskis). Great to see so many of the Rabble in place. (I'm hoping we can do as well with the Zonie Rabble at the Tucson Celtic Festival the 1st Saturday in Nov.)

So are Alan_H & the young lassie "cuttin' the lawn?" (As opposed to "cuttin' the rug.")
    .
Happiness? I'd settle for being less annoyed!!!

My family and I had a wonderful time at the games! The Young'n said it was her favorite games that we had been to this year.

And Yeah, I think she had fun dancing with Alan H. She still says I can't send a short vid that I did to her older sister.

When she's not looking I will post it here, though.

W2F's X-Marks tartan kilt was VERY nice, I particularly noted the quality of the material was very good. He did a great job on this one, for sure. I also got some great ideas from him for the next kilt or 2 that I am making.

Hey Walkerk-how about a few pics of your new kilt? Uh, you did buy one, didn't you?? Or did Alan H. do the deed over at the kilt purveyor's tent??

It was great to finally meet and visit with Panache and W2F. It was good company for a good day hanging out in the Clan MacNachtan tent!
