It represents the three pronged pitchfork of satan, often used in cult ceremonies which involve human sacrifice.
It is said the displaying the logo in your home can bring terrible things down on you.

Another vote for a flourished capital W casting. There's little likelyhood that a lower case greek omega would be represented with vining and in the stylized manner of that casting. Besides, omega is more like a lower case "w" than that casting.

Just kidding. It's probably not that. When I first saw it, I thought maybe it was a pin from an antique store. It's very handsome. If it were the right size, it might pass for a kilt pin on a Wallace or Welsh person.
