I realize that it is a bit late now (since the concert was last night), but I figure that if she can pick out your outfit, then that entitles you to pick hers.

Also as others have said, in years of wearing kilts to concerts, plays, art openings, etc., I have never been accused of upstaging the artist(s).

    My answer is..

Allways the same, dump her find a better girl.

This is about control. Feminazis are quick to slander all men for (insert BS reason) and claim everything from skirts to rape is some kind of male way to control women. Yet the bottom line is they try and control men and do get away with it.

Stand up and be a man, wear men's clothes.

I had to go hug my wife again because she supports my kilt wearing.

This is a trap many men put themselves in. They ask their wives if this goes together and setting the wife up as the clothing expert. That gives them power. Some men even let their wives pick out their clothes for the day.

I never asked, and my wife would never tell me what to wear. We men can dress ourselves and can learn to coordinate colors just as well as women. I would never presume to tell my wife what to wear and she would never tell me.

Only exception is, I will ask if a particular event is casual or dressy.

Lighten up, Robert. We have pointed out, time and again that the term 'nazi' is not appreciated and is unacceptable on this forum.

    Thanks All!

Well I picked my battle and went in a suit and tie. Wife was happy, concert was excellent, and now I'm planning a kilted outting this weekend. Tomorrow night my co-workers are heading out for drinks and dinner. They like the kilt and I've wore it many a time to the workplace (elementary school). So everything is good and I thank you all for your insight into this matter. You were a great help. :-)
