Trouble with flashes

Has ANYONE seen ribbon in a fabric or craft store in Saffron (in the brown-ish shade)????

Noooo.... but how about white spray painted with the right color - might work in a pinch.

Right or wrong, that Pipers uniform looks awesome. So good, I'm tempted to take a pair of my cream kilt socks and die them black.

I was a bit concerned that wearing black with my saffron would look too much like halloween decorations but tomorrow will be Saffron kilt day with black shirt and leathers ... drat!...I don't have a black belt to go with the kilt. OK, next week will be Saffron kilt day with black shirt and leathers. That will give me time to die my socks also.

For saffron flashes you could also buy one of the saffron ties Stillwater has and cut it down. Not the most economical...but anything in a pinch.
