Oops, that would be me. I am making the first for a buddy's 30th, and the bugger hasn't given me the measurements yet. I did use the book as a rough guide for a kid's kilt (for a 1 year old), but obviously didn't put all the detail and time into it. So far, it is fairly easy even for a beginner at sewing like me. Maybe I will make a solid colour in some grey wool I have to get the first out of the way.

I'll be making two box pleats next year, starting the first one probably in January....this is assuming the family gives me 2.45 yards of Hall tartan or the California tartan for Christmas, and I'm HINTING.....so I would love to get a copy of what you guys write up.

So Barb, Since I am keen to have your book and have been putting off purchasing it, would it be better for you if I go ahead and order the current edition so you can get them off your hands and then acquire the supplement when it is available?
Thanks

What Barb doesn't suspect is that I plan on giving her a crash course in box pleating by dumping about a half dozen lengths of cloth in her lap and seeing how much of my backlog she can help me get through in one weekend.... :-)
Gee, I should probably get back to sewing now.....
