    I always thought it was the 4" belt and the big ole buckle forcing me to stand up straight to keep from pinching my gut. Kilt wearing does help when one suffers from Dunlaps disease.

    I also find myself standing and walking straighter while kilted. My wife hasn't noticed yet, but she will. Being in the Shenandoah Valley, kilt wearing on a daily basis is a bit of an oddity. Therefore, I must walk a little taller. If not, then others may think I am ashamed to wear my kilt. We can't let that happen now, can we.
