More pics:
The memorial that marks the massive burial mound (behind the fever hospital), where famine victims were laid to rest (my great-great-grandfather's family is buried here)...

Though you can't quite fathom its size here, the mound rises about a meter above the surrounding soil and stretches over 200 ft. in length (it's about 60 ft. at its widest point)...

Lough Sillan (in Shercock, Co. Cavan), known for its abundant pike fishing...

Another boring roadside view...

Breathtakingly beautiful. Spectacular! Carol and I must visit Ireland soon.
This whole thread is absolutely superb. I was surprised to see this thread had not yet been rated "Excellent." It was my honor to rate it so.
Thank you for the care you've obviously taken in sharing not only the photos, but also your touching family history and your honeymoon site. You've given us you past, present and future in one magnificent thread.
Deepest regards,
Scott Gilmore

Since we won't have our (professional) wedding photos for another week or so, I've posted some of the (before & after) shots that Macsim took (thanks again, Mark!).
Some of my family arriving for the wedding, from left to right: Moriah (one of my sisters), Nanny, Mom, Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Dorothy, and Pop-pop...

Explaining the meaning of the tartan colors to Jimmy...

Posing for the photographer...

The Bride and bridesmaids, from left to right: Chandra (Wendi's sister), Suzanne and my best friend...

Last pics for now:
Wendi posing for the photographer...

Taking a break and sharing a smile...

I think the piece of cake I just fed to her was too big...

Wedding cake...

Thanks for letting me share our wonderful day. I hope everyone enjoyed the pics.

Great wedding photos, I loved the kilt outfit & your wifes dress is beautiful, the Ireland photos were fantastic. Good luck to you both, & have a happy married life.
