Sorry for the delays in responses. I am so in and out right now on business..I have literally been on the road since the first of August every weekend for work..then running my business during the week. So, I apologize for being so slow here..

As for an update on Nathan.

He was on football scholarship to college, and he was injured in practice. He is going to have to have surgery for the injury, and when I talked to the Warmacks, he was at home awaiting the surgery.

Yes, he did get to go to Scotland. The Warmacks said he was inundated by media when he was there, and he got to see some really awesome places.

..and yes, he got fully decked out in his kilted attire for Prom, and he looked very very nice. He is still dating his girlfriend from high school and the Silver Arrow Dance is coming up. He was planning on attending that dance, the very one that started the whole issue last year, with his girlfriend. I believe he's planning on wearing his kilt.

The Warmacks seem to be doing well. They are just pretty upset that all of the promises were never kept. They do have a signed contract from the school district..so there should be legal accountability for them not upholding their promises. They feel like everything everyone did for Nathan, and Nathan's attempts to take a stand for himself have been for nothing.

I guess that's all the news on that front...

For me, I am very much looking forward to seeing my Clan Gunn family at the Salado Gathering, and I'm really hoping I don't have to be at the meet for my gymnastics team all weekend. I am really hoping to have at least one day off to be out there among the kilts!

oh..and one other thing.

The ACLU wouldn't even touch the case. I guess we can only make guesses as to why. I also know that there was a group...the Southern something or another that is very much like the ACLU who tried to attack the Warmacks and the law firm representing them as racists or something. I can't remember the exact issue. Nor can I remember the name of that organization off the top of my head, but if I remember correctly, Kurt Lyons had to tell them to back off or they'd be going to court for their comments. ..but like I said, I can't remember exactly what it was they said. I was too busy keeping up with the petitition and stuff.

So, essentially, the ACLU said they weren't interested...and they won't touch the issue because it's not within their area of interest. Nice to know they'll look out for SOME rights..but not ALL rights, huh?

Hey folks, I just thought I'd let you know that there seem to be ton(ne)s of articles regarding this on the internet. I just did a Yahoo search for "Nathan Warmack" quotation marks included and there were articles with pictures.

They have good INTENTIONS, but VERY often get things COMPLETELY messed up and end up doing more harm than good.
