Looks pretty good....
I might suggest that a plain colored tie to compliment the color of the kilt will complete the look a bit better than the striped tie.

Yes I know, that was just a try to make sure that everything fits perfectly and I will get a nice purple silk tie to complete the outfit.

I met a couple from Scotland (Shethland) in the Sahara and they told me that HR is one of the best kiltmakers after I showed them a picture of me kilted.

Very nice look, and with all the formal accessories. A plain tie will just complete the whole ensemble perfectly. Oh, and open your eyes next time, the picture does not hurt!!

Good look,
If you like 13 oz you'll love 16 oz.

striped ties...
I disagree with the sentiment expressed here about the tie; I've seen a number of kilties pull off a patterned and/or striped tie with kilts, especially when there is a waistcoat to separate them. I know some may disagree with me here, but it has been done.
For example, here is a picture of HRH the Duke of Rothesay (Prince Charles) wearing a kilt with a regimental striped tie:

The regiment in question is the Gordon Highlanders.
I've also seen pictures of a number of ex-servicemen from Scottish regiments wearing their regimental ties with their kilts. I wouldn't dream of telling them they were "wrong" in wearing their regimental ties with their kilts.
Regards,
Todd
