I don't know the technical restrictions involved in making this fabric heavier, but it IS great stuff and I would think that it would be well worth their while to consider it.

I heartily agree with all of this...and expand their PV tartan choices a bit while they're at it. (I just forwarded a link to this thread to Marton Mills)

I ordered my Tan Ghillie Brogues from this gentleman and received them quickly. I posted a review of them earlier. I cannot vouch for his ability to describe items correctly as the ghillies were not as described but still good quality. He was also quick to apologize and offer a refund if I wanted to return them or free shipping if I ordered from him again. Not bad service. O'Neille
