I'm not surprised at the positive responses, though...

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm glad you had a great first outing. My first outing was at school about a week ago. I attend night school at a local Vocational Technical School, so there were plenty of country boys there. I got NO negative comments as well. I figured that if I'm going to be kilted, I'll jump in with both feet and not worry about what others may think
 Congratulations again!

					Pops,
Not as much as you may think. I think the rest of the family has pretty much accepted that we tread lanes far from the beaten path.

 To everyone else,
Thanks again for the support and congrats. If I can ever get one of my roommates to do a decent picture I'll try to post it. Last time he took off half my head and showed a foot extra of the ground around my feet! Oh well. Thanks again everyone!

It takes a lot to stand out from the crowd, but when we stand away from everyone else, we get a better view of who and where we are. Congrats!

Maybe it's because I wore a white wifebeater tanktop(as they are known here) and showed off my celtic tat. ..... Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Isn't this realy cool...father and son on different continents swapping kilt advice via this board. The power of the kilt is awesome...the kilt plus the internet is just plain amazing!
