On the beach
After 9 hours of driving, me on the beach at Newport beach Oregon at sunset.

Heck! long way to the beach, takes me only five minutes but it's worth it, there's nothing like being near the ocean.
A scuba diving buddy of mine wore a T shirt "Life's a beach - then you dive", just threw that in there

1800 miles and 3 days to that one beach Graham, it felt really good.

I had made it to my brothers earlier so he drove to the beach thank goodness, I was very tired at that point, the wind had not started to pick up so it was actually quite nice.
P1M, it's still a two lane road but they are widening it and nary a log truck to be seen. It has really changed since I was last here in 91.
For KCW, the sunset really was beautiful.
