Try to get over to the Isle of Skye, many kilts there and of course the Talisker Distillery for a wee dram.

    Enjoy the trip......

Ah, Talisker!! Nothing better! Only a dram? Maybe two or three.

What a shock to see my clan name "Colquhoun" in print. You don't see it very often. Many get a strange look on their face when I tell them my clan name. They expect to hear a Mac something or other. Then I add the family name of Kilpatrick and they smile as though that makes a difference. Oh well.

BTW, anyone out there belong to the SCA? And if so, what do you usually wear to the functions?

Well, I don't see much problem with it, personally.

My belted plaid of a non-specific tartan, and a Leine. The tartan was chosen because it looks fairly good as far as dyes go, and works well as camoflage.
