Hey, if pants can be part of a Halloween costume so can your kilt. I am going for the "Braveheart" look at the party(s)* we are throwing: blue face paint, kilt, Jacobite shirt, and my kid's foam sword and shield from Legoland. Now I am fully aware that I am probably mixing about 1000 years of Scottish warrior-wear (Pict through post-Jacobite) -- blame Hollywood. Plus, it give me the opportunity to happily expound on the myth vs. reality to any who may be curious (or within ear shot).![]()
Best regards,
Jake
* Halloween has gotten so big in my family, that we actually throw two pumpkin carving parties, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. My wife has accumulated so many Halloween decorations over the years (including a six foot animatronic Edwardian butler)that I jokingly explain that its because we are devil worshipers
and this is our big time of year.
