I just got off the phone with Matt Newsome and I'm looking at 3 weeks until my box-pleated kilt is started! Anyway, I was thinking it would be nice to see all of the box-pleats in one thread. Here is my other box-pleat, a very early 19th century variant of Lamont tartan from Peter MacDonald. It was sewn up by Wanda McSwain. I'm willing to bet that there are alot more box-pleats now than when I first started posting here.
Clan Lamont!
nice! im thinking about getting one!
looks good! Here's the MacFarlane I did and I'm working on a Forbes tartan box pleat now.
SB, you should get one! MacFarlane, thats wonderful. Great work!

I have pictures of lots of my kilts here. Most of them are box pleated. http://kilts.albanach.org/pics.html
I'll be digging up this thread come about January. I'll be adding a photo of my Henderson Weathered in 16 oz. Strome by Matt. The Jones is killin' me with this one!
Matt: Where did Dave get those burgundy hose he's wearing in that top left picture. They look very thick. The Ulster looks great also!
