That's the Moncrieff tartan (aka Old MacLachlan) on the left, in an 11 or 12 oz weight cloth. It's lighter than I preferr for a four yard kilt, but it was what the client had (he supplied his own cloth that he purchased from the Moncrieff Society), and I think it worked out nicely.
The kilt on the right is the Campbell tartan, in a 16 oz weight woven by Lochcarron. I always prefer heavy weight cloth in a four yard kilt -- it works out fantastically in terms of drape and feel.
Both tartans are in the ancient color scheme.
