    That tartan is really a nice shade of blue. IMHO dark top and dark hose make it stand out nicely.

    Good for you in the display of your father's memorabilia. My father was a Bomber Crew Chief in the American Army Air Force. He would have been in Europe if the war had lasted just a little longer, but thankfully he didn't have to go over.

    Very sharp....I am soooo drooling for mine now.

    Plan to wear it witht he replica RAF Battlejacket I got from What Price Glory. I added my father's wings, Sgt. stripes, and U.S.A shoulder flashes.

    I have my father's RAF pin, like what you have on the top shelf, only it also has 1942 below the RAF letters. Much too precious to wear as a kilt pin though.

    Do you know if anyone makes an RAF kiltpin?

    Great looking kilt Alex--You fit in nicely there-I think that lovet blue hose would look great with that kilt also, although the darker ones give a nice contrast to the kilt
