Pics from Port Townsend WA. NKR

Kilted John thought I should share some of the pics I took of the heritage buildings in Port Townsend, Washington. They can all be found along the main street by the waterfront. Now, these aren't nearly as old as some of the stuff P1M likes to share, but still pretty impressive works of architecture. Enjoy!

Not quite a "heritage" place, but cool nonetheless. We've been in a number of 50's theme diners over the years, but this one was by far the most "authentic" one we've found.

Great pics of some fabulous older buildings. That last one looks like Gunther Toodys. It's a theme resturant chain. There are 2 here in CS and I've seen a few up in the Denver area too. Usually have an old motorcycle set up between the double row of booths down the middle, just to the right of your pic.

Intresting, I just looked at their web page and they only have the 2 here, 5 in Denver area and 1 in TN.

I have actually gone to the Wine Seller in the last photo before the 50's Diner. Good memory lane trip.

Is the Celtic Shop, "Wandering Angus" still there? I bought my belt buckle there a couple of years ago and had a chat with Alan from Bravehearts while I browsed the store.

I Love Port Townsend! If I was ever going to move from here....

Wandering Angus is indeed still operating in PT. My wife and I stopped in there to look around. Neat little shop!
