Yeah, we seem to cover this ground about every two months or so.

It has inspired me to make some "daring" predictions about what we will be discussing on the forum in 2007....why not?...they're already selling Christmas stuff in October...

    In the year 2007...

    ...we will discuss "kilt undergarments".

...we will discuss clever rejoinders to the question, "what's under the kilt?"

...we will discuss what tartans a person can wear if they don't have any "family ties".

...we will discuss the legality of carrying sghian dubhs....

...I'm sure that you can all add to the list.

Wear whatever you want under your kilts...it's your own business and there aren't any rules.

    Best

    Talking Seems Perfect

http://www.internationalmale.com/pro...=&Au=RollupKey is a great idea. It's like a Scottish leine. I've been wondering how to travel wearing the kilt, and refuse to wear a bifurcated garment under it. I do have some SCA garb that fits the bill, too, but they're black. Two will be on order. I also, have a T-shirt style nightshirt that may be short enough to wear under the kilt and a shirt.

And no need to share that choice with the rest of the world, either.

Amazing how this is such a major issue, once a man straps on a kilt. Yet it is a topic that rarely would come up otherwise.

I don't care what another man is wearing or not wearing as an undergarment, no blinkin' matter how he is dressed. And why I would ever have reason to share my own choice with others is beyond me.

Just to remind everyone of the forum guidelines -

Posts and/or threads containing topics not related to kilts or topics deemed questionable by the forum staff may be deleted, without cause. This includes but is not limited to threads concerning kilt accessories used as weapons or used to carry weapons, what is worn under the kilt, the "is a kilt a skirt?" issue, the gender of those wearing kilts, National pride issues, etc...
