I meant for the "casual" viewer and in advertising terms. Bud commercials are BOTH memorable and have good name placement. Petsmart (I think) had a good commercial with the hand puppet, but few could remember what it was for. The same with this one. THAT is what I meant. It was intended to bring the brand to public awareness and failed to have me (a Scot fanatic and Scotch drinker) even rememder the brand. It does not provide good BRAND recognition, only commercial recognition.
For contast: a bad successful commercial:
"HEAD ON, apply directly to the forehead" repeat a dozen times.
It is not well done, but is successful in providing brand recognition.
Have I got the idea across, or do I need to continue?
