We were amused with the William Wallace statue in Stirling. The likeness of Mel Gibson inside a chain lick fence, with an inscription of "Freedom".

Anybody else notice on the last line: It seems to be the earliest monument to Wallace, that near-legendary symbol of Scottish patriotism. look at the word near.
