    Obviously you're doing things right to be granted an honor like that. Very good for you.

    I agree, if you have input for the tartan the WI Tartan looks great.

    I'm familiar with the Wisconsin tartan. I know the guy who designed it. He owns the only kilt in that tartan. I like it a lot, I'm just worried about cost.

    It sort of looks like some kiltmakers specialize in doing "bulk" orders for pipe bands and cut a discoount* for quantity. Of course the question would be how many band members will you end up with? I'd guess that they'd cut a bigger discount for twenty kilts than they would for six.

    And please don't forget that your fire department is genuinely entitled to run some fund raisers for such a noble cause. Frankly, organizations here run them at the drop of a hat and for much less worthy endeavours...I'd say that an honor guard is pretty worthy.
