But...they're handy when you wear a kilt...I personally dislike chairs with arm rests. It's much easier to get seated on a chair without....no pleat battle problems and the pleats on the side can hang like a japanese fan.
When I visit my favorite restaurant (five star kilt friendly) they make sure I get a chair without arm rests.
I mostly sit like the military....knees apart and feet "crossed"
Seems to me, the front corner would just make sitting more difficult. Yes, they're nicely done, and are very functional for a corner, but... ?
