Nicely said. Kilts are made to be worn proudly, every kilt I own I wear with pride.

OK, this thread appears to now be on its last leg.

I really don't understand why so many of you expect and demand tolerance from others, but can be so unbending, yourselves. Maybe we need a big announcement on the portal that reminds everyone to check their attitude at the door?

If you see a post that you feel is offensive to you, then point out what you believe to be offensive about the post and NOT the author.

The forum staff has no problem with you forming opinions of others, but from here on out, we expect you to keep the negative opinions and observations to yourselves. Or suffer the consequences.

Are these concepts so difficult to understand? If you discover you are struggling with it, drop me a Private Message and we will get it sorted for you.

First of all I can't say enough good about Jerry and his kilts. If it weren't Stillwater I would maybe only have two or three (at the most) kilts in my closet instead of 10.

I hope (actually beg) that this thread does NOT get locked down as the posts have helped me to make my decision of should I purchase one or not.

That dilema being that I have no ties to the USMC directly and while I find the tartan to be very attractive, would I feel right wearing it?

Thanks to all here the answer is a resounding YES! I would be honored to wear the tartan of any branch of our service out of respect for the sacrifices they made ensuring the freedoms I enjoy.

God bless the marines, God bless Stillwater, God bless X-marks and God bless America!
