    occupational kilt pin...

I wear a harp kilt pin, symbolic of my professions:

park ranger, historian and librarian, as well as my role as our local Scottish society's sennachie or bard.

All three professions involve collecting, cataloging and most importantly, the telling of history.

    Regards,

    Todd

    key kilt pin

This gives me an idea. For my primary job mine would be a key. I think I'll go out to the stock room and pick out one of those old-fashioned bit keys. Some folks that don’t know any better call them skeleton keys.

I've been known to wear my old corporal's chevrons

It's not my occupation anymore, but in honor of a) my service, b) my father's service, and c) those currently serving in the USMC I have been known to wear my old original corporal's USMC chevron as a kilt pin. Comes with its own frogs, too, so that's hard to beat.
