I will be attending my local Rememberance Day parade and service, same as I always do. I didn't wear a kilt last year as it was just pouring. This year the forcast looks the same, but my son is walking in the parade with his Beavers troop (part of Scouts Canada) and I will be with him. It's pretty tough to be the lone kilted guy in a parade with one group, but it's worse when the next group is the World Champion SFU pipe and drum band

I piped for my Canadian Legion post color guard on parade that morning, at an American Legion post that afternoon, and my pipe band performed a concert for the local memorial service that evening.
A Pittance of Time
THEY SHALL GROW NOT OLD AS WE
THAT ARE LEFT GROW OLD;
AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM NOR
THE YEARS CONDEMN.
AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN
AND IN THE MORNING,
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
