Very funny Rocky, but maybe sad too. It certainly takes a wee bit o' the glamour from a visit to Scotland.

I still love it there tho'.

Just recently found this myself, I love it - especially the last verse!

Sadly, read a forum post from Ronnie Browne's son that an audio version will never see the light of day as "it is too un-PC these days". When listened to it I could see what he meant, it's amazing how quickly society's values change.

I'm not sure who had more fun.... the audience or the performers!

Thanks, Rocky! I enjoyed that even though I must admit I could only understand or appreciate about half of the lyrics, what with their Scottish brogue & terminology & points of reference about people & places I don't understand, but that's a pretty good song if you can be amused & entertained while only catching half of the words!

Any idea when this video was made?

I agree RR (wish I understood some of the references), but the whole 3+ minutes was worth the following section:

    And nothing worran
    Wish the wind was warammm!

I'm sorry if anyone found it offensive. I wasn't trying to offend, simply amuse (especially the verse about the frozen twosome)

    Point of clarification...

    Irish have a Brogue
Scots have a Burr (while they both generally refer to the "accent", it's a different word to describe it)
