Very similar to what I was awarded for my time in service.

    Army Commendation Medal
    Army Good Conduct Medal
    National Defense Medal

As shown on my hatpins here:

That's how I show my service when I'm going casual.

My salute to all who have ever worn the uniform in service to their country.

Yep, actually the same things, just the Army version. I didn't receive any Army medals since I was only in green for a year (Army National Guard.) I found those solid metal hat pins on Ebay (for the medals I have.) I'm going to do the same thing, and order 'em up. Now all I need is the relative tartan as you have there.

    BTW,
I dig the MacDonald of Glencoe tartan in your avatar. That one's on my wishlist (Hendersons were the bodyguard the MacDonald of Glencoe chief.)

I always have an and continue to have the highest respect for those who have chosen to wear the uniform of any military organisation. They all deserve much more respect than they have been given. I was never able to serve my country in the military. But I still make a point of thnking all who served, no matter where or when. Thank you, Veterans. My flag is flying in your honor today and always.

    Frank
