    Add yeast.

The carboy sits in an undisturbed corner (near cases of homebrew and empty bottles - potential homebrew).

A hydrometer tells me the specific gravity, which is the potential alcohol content.

Great pics Andrew. Nothing better than having a homebrew while brewing

I love seeing a different way of homebrewing. The next time my wife & I brew will need to take pictures. We do all-grain home brewing.

    Cheers,

Yet another nice photo essay on brewing.

I guess I'm going to have to do this when I brew my next all-grain batch in a few weeks.

My next batch will be all-grain. I had this recipe I wanted to try out that used the DME.

I really want to try making beer, I had some of the equipment I scored from my uncle, but I cant get any ingredance locally over here. The shipping cost made everything unaffordible, since I could just get kegs for cheaper and not have to wait lol

    You know-

That wort cooler reminded me of the way my relatives used to brew.

The used it kinda different, though. seems like the stuff ran through it to cool, and the mixture boiled after it was fremented.....

It also seems that maybe the product was clear.........
