8 of 10.
Honestly, I still buy shoes based on usefulness. I almost always buy sneakers that will look well with anything. Otherwise it's boots which almost always look good with a kilt, or dress shoes.
Trousers... have to keep them around, thanks to blasted uniform requirements.
Besides... I could be addicted to something worse!

I would be 9/10 or 10/10, if I actually bought kilt-related items more than once or twice a year. But, since I don't, the addiction is mild. My KAS (Kilt Acquisition Syndrome) pales in comparison to my NAS (Nikon (film photo equipment) Acquisition Syndrome). In fact, for a while, there was no comparison.

I am sorry, but if Hamish only rates a nine, there is no such thing as a 10! By the way, Hamish, I think it would be wonderful if one day you posted pictures of your closet, or whatever sanctum it is in which you keep your wardrobe, so we your admirers can stand in awe of the kiltitude.
Best regards,
Jake
