Well, I actually have next Saturday off, so that would be good... other than that I have every Friday night off, so I'm good for any Friday...

Anyone been to the Flying Saucer in Fort Worth. I go there every once in while. Sometimes I get a craving for the dark stuff.

Alright... let's commit to something.
This Saturday night, who's free?
Trinity River Whalers will be at Trinity Hall, or the Saucer sounded good to me...

I'm up in the air about plans for this weekend and next week . . . will be out of town part of the next week . . . should firm up either today or tomorrow, so I'll post again when I know.

Crap. I'm off Mondays and Tuesdays this month. Have to be in early on Sundays, but looks like Sunday nights free. On call all other days... Maybe I can make it another time...
Such is the life of a Law Enforcement Ossifer.
Dang, I have no life. I will probably die alone

Crapcakes!
Talk about your bad luck... I work at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall, and I finally had a weekend off (I produce video full time during the week and also help out during the services on the weekends). Unfortunately the kid we had on call this weekend (in case a volunteer can't make it), decided to go watch his school's football team during the district playoffs, and then an actually scheduled volunteer called off... so looks like I'm booked this weekend too unless we did something Friday night...
Stupid volunteers... who told them they could have lives of their own? Oh... wait, they're volunteers, by definition they have lives outside of the LP...
Oh well... What's everyone doing the Wednesday before or the Friday after Thanksgiving?

Quick update... the wife and I are going to Trinity tonight to see Jed Marum, so if anyone else can make it out... see ya there... I'll be in a Olive Drab UK, as it's all I've got for another few weeks... the real name's Kevin and the beautiful pregnant lady with me will be Ann

I was able to get to Trinity Hall last night . . . glanced around for kilted guys when I got there, and saw a guy in an olive UK. I wasn't at all sure it was Captain. I had looked at the picture which he had included in his original post, and this guy had much longer hair, a beard and glasses  . . . but I finally went up and asked. I was glad I did, as Captain, Mrs. Captain and I had a very nice chat! I'll be eager to neet with them again! (Captain admitted to liking to vary his appearance often!)
AnimalK (and others) -- if you want to get together on Sunday night, my original plans to go out of town this weekend have been changed to leave probably on Monday. So . . . when and where (either posted here or by PM or email)? What part of the area are you in?

It was pretty neat to finally get to talk kilt with someone other than my less than enthusiastic wife! We had a nice chat and listened to some good music from Jed Marum... all-in-all a pleasant evening, despite my wife's persistent "morning" sickness...
As for Sunday, I might be up for something as well... keep me in the loop!

Captain, I got a PM from AnimalK . . . he's free around 6:00 PM on Sunday. If you're available, we can try to meet around 7:00 or 8:00 at Trinity Hall.
Otherwise, he's out northwest near me, and I'll meet up out this way.
