Sorry Cloves, I missed your question till just now.

The Steeking is there on all Freedom Kilts except the Rocker Model. (Former Indie model)

It is so integral to my design that I will not leave it out.

About the Hillwalker, Iv'e never seen one in person so can't voice an opinion.
This kilt is made exactly like my Dress Model. No fringe, no lining, 2" waistband with six 3" beltloops. 8.04 yards of fabric.

I was going to add rear welt pockets but couldn't get the lines on the flap to line up with the tapered pleating. I'll work on them some more tomorrow.
okay i must have missed that post! can anyone link it?

WHAT DO YOUI MEAN? IT'S RIGHT THERE!!!

Oh yea, it's not there yet, that's when we get the new website up and running.

    Oh dopey me.

Seriously though guys, we are currently working on a major re-work of the website.
The new site will have true e-commerce with on-line ordering and payment.
We will expand our kilt line to include the Rocker Model, Tartan Dress Models, new fabrics, and new pocket options (detachable Cargo Pockets, Under apron pockets, and a Custom Pocket Designer.)
We are expanding our retail line to include more kilt hose, sporrans,(including Freelander's) special kilt pins, etc.

We are also working on a video entitled "How to measure yourself for a Freedom Kilt". This video will be available on the site and will walk you through the measuring process step-by-step.

We will also add video clips of each Model showing the swish and special features.

The release of the new site will be right after the new year.

Till then, if you would like a Rocker Model Freedom Kilt, PM or e-mail me and I send the specs. Price is $125.00cdn w/ optional removable Cargo Pockets at $30.00/pr.

    cgrinder,

Are you asking about the Dress Model in a Tartan fabric or about the Industrial Model?

    Both can be orderded now.

But, and here's the rub, I won't have the newest version of the website up for a couple of months yet and that is when I planned to release both of these new kilts.

So I guess you could say that both the Tartan Dress Model and the Industrial Model are X Marks exclusive. For you guys and gals only.

If you're interested, you can e-mail me at the shop and I'll make one up for you.

Cost for the Dress Model in Tartan will start at $285.00cdn + the cost of the fabric. Available in P/V, Moreno Wool, and Worsted Wool.
Side Slash Pockets and Rear Welt Pockets will be available as options on this model.

The Industrial Model will set you back $125.00cdn and is available in all 29 of our stock fabrics.
Pocket options for the Industrial Model will be limited to snap-off Cargo Pockets.
(I'll have pics of the Cargo Pockets in two or three days. I'm doing up one in Woodland Camo right now.)
