Everyone is so into political correctness these days that it is really beginning to get sickening and this was just the latest that passed my way.

I'm thinking the whole premise of a seller calling themselves "The Best of Scotland Shop" would be that they offer items that are "of Scotland" ie. made in Scotland. Sounds to me like they should call themselves bestofchinashop not bestofscotlandshop.

To ask for clarification, as a potential customer, and even to presume items sold by the "Best of Scotland Shop" might be made in the UK is not an insult. At least not in my book. The response was rude and uncalled for, even if the author did feel insulted.

The response was racist, not the question and Orangehaggis was not the one to play the race card. That is a seller on my "skip" list!
