While the tartan may have a fair bit of white in it, you pull it off very well Graham. It looks quite sharp.

Thanks Colin, and to others who offered advice.

The clergy ancient is a nice tartan, but expensive, I wanted a PV from Rocky because it's always a good value kilt.

Thanks David, that's kilt 17, with another from RKilts on the way to make 18.
I think my wife wants me to stop at 20 (better order a couple more soon)

    Graham,

Thanks for posting the pic of the kilt. The Clark tartan is on my short list of kilts, but I'm still waiting on my MacMillan tartan, so the Clark is behind that. It looks as good as I'd hoped it would.

    Hope all's well with you!

I like it! It's different, but it looks good. I definately think you have to be careful what you wear with it though.

    Greetings,

I am new to this forum. I am a Presbyterian Pastor who has a love for Scotland and the roots of our denomination. I am also very heavy, 350 lbs, and just started a very serious attempt to lose my weight by cycling.

My goal is 190 lbs at which time I will buy a Clergy Tartan Kilt to celbrate the war that is before me. I want to lose this weight for myself, my wife, and my congregation.

I covet your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement in this weight loss battle.

    Peace and Joy be yours
    Pastor Clint
