    Try military surplus outlets. I've seen them anywhere from $25 to $75 depending on where they're being sold, and what they're made of (acrylic and nylon vs. wool, etc.)

    I've seen them in tan, gray, black, navy, and O.D.

    Try folding the bottom of the sweater (jumper) under to shorten it, works for me.

    I also fold my sweaters under. Most sweaters will have at least a semi-elastic band at the bottom. I put the bottom of the sweater up at the top of my kilt, then let the rest fold down. It usually comes right to the top of where I usually wear my sporran.

    Every now and then I need to adjust my sporran to wear it a bit lower than normal, but usually I have no problem with this method.
