Ease up Tom. Nobody is trying to be funny, cute or insulting. Frankly, if you were to spend a decade or two away from Alba, you would realize how close some of P1M's transliterations are.
For Pete's sake, P1M was posting in Broad Scots fully 6 months before you registered, so don't tell me you're just seeing it now, some 90 days after you've joined us.
If you've an issue with the man, take it to Private Message. And if Broad Scots offends you, don't ever visit the First Foot forums.

I am a Glaswegian, I don't find P1M'S, writing, or his use of the Scots language in any way offensive, on the contrary, I find him very amusing & his posts to be highly educational This is a forum,to promote the wearing of kilts, & I think that P1M does that very well indeed.

Seems like a good number of folks quite like the language and want to promote it...

BTW, I thoroughly enjoyed P1M's photo tour. I visited Glascow (Glasqa) one time. Enjoyed a wonderful day at the wool festival on one day and on the next was invited to the City Hall for a luncheon (I was part of a military visiting group). Very nice folks and I won't forget them :-)
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

Hey Foxgun, take a chill pill!! We all find things in life that we may not agree with. The measure of a man is how he responds to such things. The wonderful thing about living in a democracy is the ability to choose to participate or not. As with TV, radio, the printed media or on-line forums, if there are things we find offensive or do not agree with, we can simply opt to not read, listen or participate. The choice is yours. Trying to censor or otherwise constrain an individual is far greater offense, IMHO. Oh, and P1M, I really enjoy your posts and feel you are a great asset to this forum.

Ok guys, let's get back to the subject at hand and avoid a hijack of a fun thread. No point seeing the issue blow up anymore and watch a good thread get locked down. If there is an issue between two of our members, I am sure they can sort it out in private like big boys.
