Well, I placed my order with Matt October 15th. So, mid-january is fine by me. It will all be worth it. And, I must admit, the waiting is part of the fun. Gives one the chance to dream about it.

I know you placed your kilt order quite some time before I did with Matt. You're certainly due for some tartan by now!

Oh I didn't mean that it was a long wait in total, just that I can't imagine the state you're going to be in by the beginning of January!

Yeah I'm finding this out too. I don't even have one yet and I'm having issues. I've got 2 on order right now (my wedding tank and an SWK standard blackwatch). I already have a list of kilts I would eventually like to get! Most I have found as I slowly have been researching the branches of my family. Ultimately I would like to get a traditional wool kilt in a tartan for each.. Robertson (Red and Hunting), Smith and, after I'm married, Grant from her side. A couple semi-traditionals from USAK and maybe a UK for working around the house etc. I think in all in all there's about 10 I want - mostly traditional. My girlfriend, by the way, thinks this is all fantastic! It's really the first time I've taken any sort of interest in my clothes. Not that I dress like a slob - I like to look nice, but I hate buying clothes and don't ever put much effort into it. It's usually more like I take her to the mall and get her to pick some stuff out for me. The only thing she doesn't like so much is the cost of these things .. not that I particularly like that either.

It's finished!!!!!!!!!!

I should see it "on or about Tuesday." There will certainly be a review and pictures to follow it's arrival.

Yeah, I've already got a couple in mind. I'm not sure when they're going to happen though. I reallllllly like the Glencoe district tartan. But, I've got to ease up a bit.
