    Super pics, Robertson, and congratulations on the new Isle of Skye. The walks between Rockcliffe and Kippford over the hill are very pleasant but I wouldn't be so keen on walking right round the coastline on the mud.

    the shells get dumped naturally by the tides...

    there arr also entire beaches o' mussel shells here tae....

    Winter solway pics

    The Solway looks dramatically beautiful even in the winter - a big change from summer, but just as good.
